ALO is launching its first-ever ‘Summer Atelier collection,’ taking a format that has existed since 2022 as a winter-season proposition and moving it somewhere warmer. The destination, at least in spirit, is the French Riviera. Shot in Cannes, the accompanying campaign stars longtime friends and supermodels Candice Swanepoel and Behati Prinsloo, whose sun-soaked ease mirrors the collection’s central idea: a wardrobe designed for long days that drift seamlessly into warm Mediterranean evenings. “The design team was really inspired by the idea of what you might need for an idyllic, dream vacation in the south of France,” says Abby Gordon, ALO’s Chief Design and Merchandising Officer, asking: “What would you wear for a stroll in Saint Tropez or even sailing on a yacht?” The collection is built as an answer to that question, with mix-and-match separates in silk, cotton cashmere, silk cashmere and stretch linen anchored in a palette of Sun-Drenched Pink, Sandy Beige, Black and White. The fabrics do most of the work. Silk appears in relaxed shirting, slip dresses and matching sets calibrated for golden-hour light.
