"textContent": "As luxury hospitality continues its love affair with Italy, W Hotels has found its next Mediterranean address. The Marriott-owned brand has officially opened W Sardinia – Poltu Quatu, bringing its design-led approach to one of the island’s most sought-after coastal enclaves. Located on Sardinia’s northeastern shoreline between Porto Cervo and Baia Sardinia, the new property marks another step in W Hotels’ growing Italian footprint, following openings in W Rome and W Florence. Set within the picturesque village of Poltu Quatu, which translates as ‘hidden port’ in Sardinia’s ancient language, the resort unfolds across a natural fjord framed by granite cliffs, Mediterranean vegetation and strikingly clear waters. Whitewashed buildings cascade down towards the marina, creating the kind of cinematic backdrop that has long drawn yachts, travellers and sun-seekers to this corner of the island. Design plays a central role throughout the 157-room property. Interiors were created by Meyer Davis, the studio also responsible for W Rome, while architecture comes courtesy of DE.TALES.
