London four-piece Lime Garden have always thrived on instinct — a mix of sharp wit, emotional honesty, and a refusal to sit neatly in one genre. What started as a group of music students bonding over indie rock has grown into one of the UK’s most exciting and unpredictable bands, known for their “wonk-pop” edge and electric live energy. With their new album ‘Maybe Not Tonight’, the band lean into a hazy, hedonistic narrative that traces the arc of a night out and the emotional fallout that comes with it. Schön! caught up with Chloe and Annabel from the band to talk about the making of the album and why a bit of delusion might just be essential to making it work. You all met while studying music.
