Daniel Lee continues his pursuit of functional Britishness by adopting the textured, body-sculpting magic of a label that has moved from 1980s cult status to a modern poolside essential. “There’s a natural connection between Burberry and Hunza G as British brands,” says Lee. “Our approach to material and craft is shaped by a relationship to the elements – pieces you can wear in and out of the water.” Central to the collection is the Original Crinkle™ fabric, a material composed of over nine million stitches per garment that manages to support and sculpt almost any silhouette without losing its architectural integrity. Four recognisable shapes, including the Faye, Tyler, Domino and Devyn, form the foundation of the range. Minimalist cuts adopt a heritage-inspired palette of black, white, metallic cocoa and red, while the Burberry Check appears as a trim on swimsuits and bikinis.
