A decade of creative tension between Diesel Living and Iris Ceramica culminates in a takeover of Fuorisalone 2026, swapping out the expected for a heavy dose of pop distortion. This decennial anniversary builds on a relationship that began in 2015, moving past earlier industrial-heavy hits like Concrete and Hard Leather into something far more hallucinatory. Under the direction of Glenn Martens and the architectural team at Controvento, the ‘Reloaded’ collection lands like a series of ceramic surfaces snatched from a catwalk. Large slabs and small tiles arrive in layered textures and punchy shades, turning home flooring into a radical exercise in self-expression. Every corner of the exhibition uses DYS (Design Your Slabs) technology to pull images onto the clay, ensuring no two setups appear identical. Distressed Rug slabs dominate the floor with a look inspired by ancient Persian carpets appearing worn by centuries of footsteps. Bits of pattern fall away to expose the stone surface beneath, celebrating the way time eats into objects.
