Nature rarely operates in straight lines; capturing its shifts requires a slow, analogue approach and Sandra Choi understands the emotional weight of a changing season. Jimmy Choo brings the third instalment of the ‘From the Atelier’ series into the light, turning the iconic Bon Bon bag into a canvas for seasonal transformation. Paper artist Helen Musselwhite collaborated with the house to translate her intricate, hand-layered paper sculptures into leather, pushing the material far beyond traditional accessory design. “I was so drawn to Helen’s work and how she transforms paper into such animated designs full of feeling,” says Choi. “That sense of materiality and care felt deeply aligned with our own approach to craftsmanship at Jimmy Choo.” The Bon Bon silhouette, first introduced in 2019, has consistently blurred the line between accessory and jewellery thanks to its distinctive bracelet handle. Turning it into a true objet d’art feels like a natural progression for a house so invested in emotional design. Leather takes the spotlight for 2026. Previous editions explored embroidery and crystal embellishment, but here the focus rests entirely on the manipulation of hides.
