The roots of the partnership stretch back to the 1970s at the iconic ‘Let It Rock’ boutique on Kings Road, where Malcolm McLaren and Westwood first stocked the signature silhouettes. Celebrating 75 years of the original Creeper, the Spring/Summer 2026 capsule honours a shoe that defined subcultures from the Teddy Boys to the Punks. Creepers have served for so long as the unofficial uniform for anyone moving against the grain of mainstream fashion. Teddy Boys in the 1950s made the Creeper their own, pairing the thick soles with drainpipe trousers and greased-back hair. By the time the 70s arrived, the shoe had mutated into a punk essential, stomping through the DIY scenes of London. In this new iteration, chunky crepe soles anchor the collection, paired with the signature basketweave interlace that Cox first introduced in 1949.
