Every story begins somewhere, and the Maison’s ‘Art of the Desk’ initiative treats the tabletop not as a flat surface, but as a deeply personal landscape where imagination becomes tangible as ink touches paper. Actors Dree Hemingway and Daniel Brühl front the new campaign, embodying the intellectual curiosity and sophisticated spirit that the brand has cultivated since 1906. First unveiled at a Paris showroom last January, the centrepiece of this collection – the Montblanc Desk – was designed by Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta to blend high-end furniture with the house’s iconic writing heritage. Solid oak wood blends with mid-century modern aesthetics, featuring leather-lined plateaus and drawer handles that mimic the undulating silhouette of a mountain. Subtle references to the legendary Meisterstück appear in the form of three rose gold-coloured rings on the desk legs, ensuring the furniture feels like a direct extension of the pen itself.
