Look Hugo, you didn’t have to get so personal. Being a creative has always been a choice between living wealthily and risking it all, day by day. For Spring/Summer 2026, the brand returns with a campaign titled ‘Red Means Go,’ a sentiment capturing the restless momentum of anyone trying to build something from nothing. The project speaks directly to a generation rejecting the standard corporate grind in favour of redefining success on their own terms. We all know the feeling of a well-meaning relative asking, ‘Why couldn’t you get a proper job?’ The new campaign takes those exact phrases and plasters them across billboards to highlight the societal noise that makers and instigators face constantly. Instead of letting those doubts become roadblocks, the friction transforms into fuel. “The people we speak to – the makers, creators, and instigators – all share something in common,” says James Foster, SVP Global Marketing at Hugo Boss. “A moment, or a person, that once made them doubt themselves. It burns in their memory. It pushes them on.
