Wanting to feel small, shielded and protected is a natural instinct, and Miuccia Prada makes sure we are completely covered. For Miu Miu Autumn/Winter 2026, she focuses on the human body against a vast world, inviting us into a space she calls “Mindful Intimacy.” The setting creates a conversation between the immense scale of nature and the very personal act of getting dressed. Inside the Palais d’Iéna, the modernist halls were transformed into an earthy dreamscape, where a wild forest floor of moss and grass was tucked inside the grand marble walls. Prada explores the concept of ownership, drawing clothes in close to the skin to create a feeling of warm sensuality that feels lived-in and authentic. This vision was perfectly captured by a cast of icons, led by Chloë Sevigny and a commanding Gillian Anderson. Sevigny, who famously made her runway debut for the brand’s Spring 1996 show (wearing a dusty blue set and a cropped haircut), navigated the woodland floor looking entirely secure. She donned a dark shearling-trimmed tailored blazer layered over an A-line mini dress, paired with burgundy clogs.
