  "textContent": "Villa Mozart is often cited as a cornerstone of Milanese architectural beauty, but this February it hosted a gathering that shifted the focus from the walls to the wardrobes. Serapian, a label that has defined the upper echelons of Italian leathercraft since 1928, decided to see how its famous textures would fare when paired with the rigid brilliance of glass. Stefano Serapian founded the Maison with a focus on bespoke quality, eventually leading to the creation of the Mosaico technique where strips of nappa are interlaced by hand. For the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, this legacy was combined with the artistry of Bisazza, a name synonymous with the finest glass mosaics in the world. Both brands wanted to celebrate the treasures of mestieri d’arte (métiers d’art). A massive version of the Secret bag stood in the entrance, but instead of the usual lambskin, it was made entirely from black and gold glass tiles. This sculpture acted as an anchor for the presentation, proving that even a hard material can adopt a fluid shape.
