  "textContent": "Old Billingsgate Market has seen its share of morning trade, but on Monday night, it became the heart of London’s after-dark culture. Creative director Daniel Lee brought the Burberry Autumn/Winter 2026 show back to the city, transforming the historic space with a massive reconstruction of Tower Bridge. Blue mesh scaffolding and resin puddles on the floor set a mood that mirrored a wet walk home from a Hackney club. The crowd sat on black velvet bleachers as models moved to a throbbing soundtrack by FKA twigs, featuring tracks from her Grammy-winning album, ‘Eusexua.’ The iconic trench coat reigned supreme, appearing in everything from bordeaux leather to ruffled faille. The sheer volume of outerwear even prompted Stellan Skarsgård to joke from the front row that the crowd looked like a “convention of flashers.” The audience included a patient Kate Moss, who arrived fashionably forty-five minutes late, sitting near her daughter Lila Moss and actors such as Barry Keoghan, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Brits’ producer of the year, PinkPantheress.
