Tamil Nadu: CPI Distances Itself from DMK Alliance, Cites Unconducive Political Climate

The Communist Party of India (CPI) has stated it is not currently allied with the DMK in Tamil Nadu, citing an unfavourable political climate. The party plans to assess its alliance stance based on future local body and other elections.
