The action follows the registration of FIR No. 136/2026 on May 25, 2026, at Doda Police Station under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, stemming from a video report on a liquor sale protest that allegedly targeted Kishtwar SHO Firdoos Ahmed. Police have issued a summons to Parihar, while the news outlet’s page remains unavailable to Indian users.
