Virar-Alibaug Corridor: Over 5,000 Mangroves Marked, Fewer Than 500 to Be Permanently Lost, Officials State

Authorities have stated that out of 5,043 mangrove trees identified within the Virar-Alibaug Multimodal Corridor's affected zone, only 449 are expected to be permanently lost, with plans for replanting and conservation in place.
