Jammu and Kashmir Government Bypassed Consolidated Fund with Rs 23,911 Crore Off-Budget Borrowings: CAG Report

A Comptroller and Auditor General of India report reveals that the Jammu and Kashmir administration raised over Rs 23,911 crore through off-budget borrowings via PSUs in the 2022-23 fiscal year. These borrowings did not enter the Consolidated Fund but are budgeted for repayment.
