THE BIG ANNIVERSARY🎉

SHOW OF STRENGTH started in 1986 with DOUBLE VISION aboard MV Thekla on The Grove, recently arrived in Bristol and captained by Pamela Longfellow and Viv ‘Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band’ Shanshall.

Now celebrating 40 years (cue music, cue champagne!) Show of Strength have announced they are ‘Making an exhibition of Ourselves! ‘

Sheila Hannon, Creative Producer, has pulled together 40 years of posters, fliers, photos, films, recordings, programmes and performances which will feature in a fabulous exhibition

in The Pit at Totterdown will be open to the public

Friday 17 April 6-9pm

Saturday 18 April 12-6pm

Sunday 19 April 12-6pm

And there is lots happening in this 40th year including a new podcast ‘Bristol it’s Criminal’, theatre walks covering all areas of interest and locations across Bristol, as well as productions in the South West.
