"textContent": "I’m not sure if what I said was confusing, but I’ll try to explain it better.\n\nIf someone uses Lutris, Faugus, or Zordeer, having direct access to the $HOME folder, and tries to run something that’s in the $HOME folder or uses a prefix that’s in the $HOME folder, it will probably work normally.\n\nIf you try to run an .exe file that’s being accessed directly, but using a prefix that’s being accessed via the Document Portal, it can cause problems.\n\nCopying files into the $HOME/.var/app/io.github.kyuyrii.zordeer folder every time you need to run something isn’t a practical solution, and users may not know about the existence of Flatseal.\n\nWine can work with the Document Portal, but if the app is only receiving access to the .exe file, instead of receiving access to the entire folder, it may cause an error if the .exe in question needs to access files that are in the same folder.\n\nTo solve this problem, I added the option to request access to the entire folder instead of the .exe file to the “Run in prefix” function of Zordeer. This works with Wine, but not with Proton/UMU.\n\nThat’s why direct folder access is so necessary.",
