"textContent": "Hi, I would like to join this discussion because it fits in quite well with my concern:\n\nFlathub has become my go-to resource for searching and installing software. I also love the layout and usability of this website.\n\nThat’s why, even though I know that not all of the programs available are officially curated and verified, I believed that they were at least checked and “safe” (similar to the Microsoft store). Admittedly, that was perhaps a little naive of me.\n\nI stumbled across a program, which I installed and was about to purchase the full version of. But then I decided it was a little too “sketchy.” I did some research and found that the software manufacturer has some disastrous reviews on Trustpilot and Reddit.\n\nMy suggestion would be to introduce user reviews and/or the option to report dubious programs and have them removed if necessary.\n\nI think that now that Linux is increasingly being seen as a real alternative to Windows and MacOS in the public interest, the number of such “black sheep” will increase.",
