"textContent": "## Virginia 6, Duke 4\n\n### Aidan Weaver**- RHP, '26 Eligible**\n\n _5.1 IP, 3 ER, 9 K, 4 BB, 3 H_\n\nMuch like Josh, I've liked Weaver for a bit. Maybe not quite as aggressively as him or some others, but he can really pitch, and there's some legitimate funk to the operation. He creates close to seven feet of extension from a higher three-quarters slot, giving his pitches a unique downhill angle to the plate.\n\nWorking exclusively from the stretch, Weaver uses a good tempo with a belt-high leg lift and a subtle glove tap as he turns the glove inward. He stays closed for most of the delivery, then opens the front hip late, landing with the front foot slightly open, creating an unusual shin angle on the lead leg. It looks a little awkward, but the late opening helps keep the longer arm swing hidden before the ball suddenly appears from a 6-foot-5 release height.\n\n### This post is for subscribers only\n\nBecome a member to get access to all content\n\nSubscribe now",
