"textContent": "After a whopping 4 hours of sleep, it was back to the ballpark for the second day of tournament play in Charlotte. Tuesday's offensive outburst was followed up yesterday by only 61 runs, but it's hard to follow up 81 runs in 4 games anyway. Nonetheless, some bubble teams helped their cases today and set up a few exciting matchups over the next couple days. After another long, long round of games, here's my biggest takeaways:\n\n* * *\n\n## **Virginia 6, Duke 4**\n\nRound 1 of the Chris Pollard Bowl goes to the Hoos. Duke looked to have a real chance to pull off an upset for the second day in a row, but Virginia put up a 4 spot in the 6th to kill those dreams. Henry Zatkowski got the start for the Cavaliers and had a start that was on par with his track record, filling up the zone in 6 innings of 2 run ball. Duke's Aidan Weaver had an mostly effective outing, but the bullpen's struggles were too brutal to overcome. Duke's season comes to an end short of the postseason, ending a 3-year streak that was the program's longest since the 1950's. As for Virginia, they'll look to cement themselves on the 2 seed line of a regional with the hopes of an upset against Georgia Tech this afternoon. They might already be solidified there, but you can never be too safe.\n\n### Aidan Weaver**- SP, '26 Eligible**\n\n _5.1 IP, 3 ER, 9 K, 3 H_\n\nI have been stubbornly high on Weaver for a while now, and yesterday gave me no reason to ease off that take. The stat line doesn't look too pretty due to the game getting away from him early in the 6th, but he flashed some much desired pitchability during the majority of his outing to alleviate what could have been notable damage.\n\n### This post is for subscribers only\n\nBecome a member to get access to all content\n\nSubscribe now",
