"textContent": "## Rankings notes\n\nWehiwa Aloy (216->160) Made up for his higher strikeout rate by slugging a ton.\n\nNolan Perry (unranked->199) He's been so impressive! 50K:10BB in 31 IP.\n\nEric Hartman (135->107) It's not a huge jump, but he's inching towards a top 100 player.\n\nDenzer Guzman (unranked ->250) His first chance in the Majors didn’t go well at all, but he’s only 22 years-old, is hitting .310 in Triple-A, striking out less than 20% and has a wRC+ of 119.\n\nLuis Hernandez (105-> 93) The Giants are the new Brewers when it comes to international prospects.\n\nYeremy Cabrera (358->235) Flew through Single-A. Now let's see if it continues at High-A.\n\nCaden Bodine (194->155) He doesn't strikeout! 4.1%\n\nAustin Overn (198->138) He has the potential to be a top 100 player very soon. 7 HR, 27 SB, and a .317 average.\n\nMatt Wilkinson (262 ->215) Tugboat is dawning a new flag.\n\nQuentin Young (313->273) Super-tooled athlete finally getting comfortable.\n\n3 Up 3 Down - Prospects LiveProspects LiveTom Gates\n\n## 3 up\n\n### Keyner Martinez, (Single-A) RHP SF\n\nPhoto Credit: mlb.com\n\n _2026 stats: 23.2 IP, 40 K, 13 BB, 5.7 ERA_\n\n _April rank: Unranked_\n\n _New rank: 300_\n\nIn 69 innings last year, split between starting and relieving, Martinez put up some impressive numbers. Forty-seven of those innings came at the Complex level, but his success there carried over into Single-A. Martinez can bring the heat, and watching him this year, I’ve been impressed with his ability to work inside with the fastball. He likes to attack lefties in on the hands, and against right-handed hitters, he uses his fastball to set up his slider, which initially mirrors the fastball before darting out of the zone. The changeup has also flashed effectiveness at times this year, though it still appears to need more refinement than his other offerings.\n\nIt has not been the smoothest start to the season. In six outings, he has allowed 15 runs in just 23.2 innings pitched. What has stood out, though, is his approach against hitters and his ability to generate swinging strikes. His SwStr% is up to 17.3% this year, and his CSW% is now 35.4%. He’s throwing more first-pitch strikes and allowing less contact overall. When looking deeper into his outings, there may be a couple of reasons for the inconsistency. He often starts strong, but seems to run into trouble the second time through the order, and when he begins putting runners on base, it has led to some bigger innings. I’m not sure if pitching out of the stretch is throwing him off or if he simply is not ready to consistently handle five innings at a time yet. Martinez is an exciting young arm who has shown two potential plus pitches. There is still development ahead, but the foundation is intriguing. His 300th rank feels aggressive for someone young and needing work, but I like the foundation he has.\n\n## Sign up for Prospects Live\n\nYour one stop shop for Dynasty Fantasy Baseball, MLB Draft, Baseball Card & MiLB Baseball content.
