Believe it or not, we're already a quarter of the way through the MiLB season, with several teams having played 33 of 132 regular season games. It's time to move on from struggling players that peaked in 2024 and start searching for the next potential big thing. Follow me @high_upside on X, and I'll be back Friday with this week's pitching prospects.\n\nPLIVE+ Deep Sea Diving - Prospects LiveProspects LiveCharles Trimble\n\n## Legitimate Gains or Juiced Balls?\n\n### Hector Osorio, OF, TEX\n\n _21 yo, High-A, 0% rostered on Fantrax, PL+ career/year 123/106 (+3.9 monthly change)_\n\nPhoto Credit: @aguilasdelzulia\n\nOsorio has already matched his career total of 6 HR in only 142 PA this season. He has 14 total XBH, 7 SB (1 CS), and a .274/.394/.504 slash line despite a .277 BABiP. The young Venezuelan has a 17.6% walk rate and 12.9% strikeout rate over 866 career PA (.423 OBP). His career worst wRC+ is 125. He’s maintained an 84.1% contact rate this season and posted a similar mark (85.6%) over 358 PA last year. Normally, I’d list players by Fantrax rostership, but Osorio is my favorite sleeper prospect on this week’s list. At this rate, he’ll be playing in Double-A at age 21, and the acquisition price will be much higher. I was able to pick him up in a league with 600+ prospects rostered today.\n\n### Ramon Ramirez, C, KCR\n\n _20 yo, High-A, 5% rostered on Fantrax, PL+ career/year 122/100 (-2.4 monthly change)_\n\nRamirez has acclimated well to High-A and is enjoying his best professional season. He’s slashing .305/.373/.543 over 118 PA this year, with 12 XBH (6 HR). He’s been on fire over the last two weeks, slashing .439/.531/.805 (235 wRC+).\n\n> No. 5️⃣ for Ramon Ramirez! 💪#RoadToRoyalty🦝 pic.twitter.com/3JR0IPhsmc\n>\n> — Quad Cities River Bandits (@QCRiverBandits) May 10, 2026\n\n### Luis Guanipa, OF, ATL\n\n _20 yo, Single-A, 4% rostered on Fantrax, PL+ career/year 104/101 (+2.5 monthly change)_\n\nGuanipa received a $2.5 million signing bonus way back in 2023, but has been an afterthought after three mediocre, low-level seasons. This season, he’s equaled his career HR total (7) in only 30 games. He’s also stolen 19 bases and only been caught once. The strikeout rate is sitting at a career-low 10.3%. The fact that Osorio is listed above him doesn’t mean I’m not a fan.
