The hero? It wasn’t Lackey, Burress or Advincula, but seven-hole hitter Will Baker, who unleashed on a hanging breaking ball and drove it over the trees in right field, giving the Yellow Jackets a 5-1 lead with a three-run shot that proved to be the difference in the game. Four of Baker’s 15 career homers have come in the last two weeks.\n\n### Mark Quatrani, C Notre Dame (Atlantic Coast)\n\n4-for-5, 2B, R, 4 RBI\n\nIf Notre Dame was scoring on Saturday, Quatrani was involved. He especially made his mark late in the game, pulling the Irish within one with a two-run single in the seventh, and putting the exclamation point on the comeback with a double in the eighth, plating two more. After two strong years at Cornell, Quatrani has been a major contributor in the middle of Notre Dame’s lineup this year, coming up huge in some key wins over Clemson, Virginia, Boston College and now Stanford.
