"textContent": "Welcome to Diamond Diplomas! Whether you compete in the deepest of dynasty leagues or want to win the office redraft title, Prospects Live has you covered. Before we dive in, here is a quick overview of the tier system. Both the hitter and pitcher lists feature three “tiers” of prospects. These tiers loosely correspond to the PLive Dynasty prospect rankings of these players relative to one another, but the author (yours truly) will often place and move names around to more accurately reflect both their real-time dynasty value and their potential for major league fantasy production in 2026. For a full breakdown of the tier system used to prioritize players, take a look at the first article in this season’s series here:\n\nDiamond Diplomas 3/31/26: A Quero’s JourneyLucas Morel (@theprospectprof) delivers a rundown of all the players getting their caps and gowns ready for graduation to the major leagues. Class is in session, time to find out who you need to add to your roster or watch list this week.Prospects LiveLucas Morel\n\nCheck out the standout performers from the past week in the latest Report Card (all statistics courtesy of _Baseball Reference, Baseball Savant_ , _Fangraphs, Milb.com, and TJStats_ , updated as of the conclusion of play on April 27):\n\n## Report Card\n\n### **Called Up**\n\n * Travis Bazzana, 2B (CLE): Late on Monday night, news broke that the Guardians finally called up their first-overall draft selection from 2024. Bazzana has looked not just healthy but elite in his first 24 games at Triple-A this season (.933 OPS, 152 wRC+), and Cleveland’s big league roster needs a spark at the plate with some of their usual suspects scuffling in the early going this season. Thanks to the relatively shallow nature of second base as a position for fantasy, Bazzana immediately becomes one of the highest priority pickups in all formats.\n * Jasson Domínguez, OF (NYY): On paper, “The Martian” rejoins the Yankees because of Luis Gil’s demotion rather than Giancarlo Stanton’s calf injury, but it is the latter occurrence that provides Domínguez an opportunity to prove he belongs in the bigs with the Yankees this week. The 23-year-old had an OPS nearing .900 in Triple-A prior to this call-up, so both dynasty and redraft managers should be cautiously optimistic of his ability to contribute in fantasy right away, assuming he gets his fair share of starts in the coming days.\n * Colby Thomas, OF (ATH): Thomas returned to the A’s in the corresponding move for Denzel Clarke’s injured list designation, and projects to see semi-regular playing time against lefties as part of an outfield platoon. Redraft managers will want to see a strong start at the plate before pouncing, but dynasty managers with Thomas shares should be pleased that he now gets a chance to rebound from his mediocre 2025 debut stint in the majors.\n * Payton Tolle, P (BOS): Buried amidst the chaos of Boston’s coaching overhaul last weekend, Tolle made his 2026 debut for the big league club and looked phenomenal. The southpaw tallied up eleven strikeouts in six innings, with just one run allowed, doing more than enough to earn at least one more turn in the rotation. If he keeps performing, look for Tolle to provide some serious production in both redraft and dynasty formats for the remainder of the season, especially in strikeout-focused categories.\n * JR Ritchie and Didier Fuentes, P (ATL): Ritchie and Fuentes swapped places in something of a pitching line change for Atlanta last week, but the former does not seem interested in letting go of a starter’s role in the majors now that he has one. Ritchie went seven quality innings against the Nationals, striking out seven and giving up two earned runs in the process. He has less of a secure role in 2026 than Tolle, given the pitching reinforcements that are on their way for Atlanta, but Reynaldo Lopez’s move to the bullpen should allow him to stick in the rotation for the foreseeable future.\n * Riley Cornelio, P (WAS): Cornelio looked rough in his MLB debut outing, conceding two earned runs and walking four batters in just two innings. That said, he came into the game in relief after having worked as a starter in Triple-A all season, so the disruption to his usual process and preparation should not go overlooked. He will get a chance to recalibrate back in the minor leagues, as the Nationals optioned him back to Triple-A on the 25th.\n\n\n\n### **Locked In** :\n\n * Henry Bolte, OF (ATH): More on him later, but Bolte possesses some of the biggest fantasy upside of any prospect in baseball, and it was all on display this past week. Three home runs and two steals helped him raise his season totals to seven and eleven, respectively. The A’s looked to Thomas for outfield help this past week, but continued production at the plate from Bolte could bump him to the front of the line when the next call-up opportunity arises.\n * Pedro Ramírez, 3B (CHC): The Cubs hardly have room for the hitters already on their roster, but Ramírez just looks too polished for Triple-A at this point. Two home runs and ten runs batted in helped bring his wRC+ on the season up to 158, and he is well and truly knocking on the door of the major leagues. Whether the Cubs will open that door in 2026 (or use his strong start as a trade chip) remains to be seen.\n * Luis Lara, OF (MIL): Lara continues to defy the odds (and his own track record) with his power output in 2026. He hit his third, fourth, and fifth home runs this past week, already surpassing his full-season home run total from 2025 (two). His .214 ISO will not last forever, but his overall season in 2026 has been more than strong enough to warrant consideration for a call-up soon. Fantasy managers can bank on solid plate discipline and speed on the basepaths if and when he joins the Brew Crew, but should temper their expectations when it comes to his long-term home run production.\n * Thomas White, P (MIA): White has had to spend much of the minor league campaign up to this point working his way back from an oblique strain suffered in preseason, but he recently rejoined Triple-A Jacksonville and seems to be approaching full strength. His latest start lasted four clean innings of shutout baseball, striking out six and allowing just one hit (but walking three batters as well). Robby Snelling and Braxton Garrett have the edge on White when it comes to impending call-up possibilities, but he should nevertheless make his MLB debut at some point later on this season.\n * Chase Petty, P (CIN): 2026 has been up and down for Petty, but this week was one of the clear highlights. The right-hander tossed six shutout innings, striking out three and walking three, and furthered his case for a return to the majors this season. Back-end starter still looks like the ceiling here, for fantasy purposes.\n * Zebby Matthews, P (MIN): Minnesota’s prodigal pitching son has not exactly excelled since his preseason demotion to the minors (5.91 ERA, 6.68 FIP), but he turned in his best start of the year this past week. He held the opposition scoreless over five innings and registered five strikeouts to just one walk. More of the same will be needed from Matthews over the next couple of months for him to earn a return to the Show (and to fantasy relevance).\n\n\n\n### **Dropped Off** :\n\n * Jacob Melton, OF (TB): Thanks to an ankle injury set to sideline him for the next month or more, Melton falls off the Diamond Diplomas list. He was a popular big league breakout choice for many people in advance of this season, but a Triple-A assignment and this latest injury have slowed his fantasy momentum substantially.\n * Cooper Ingle, C (CLE): Ingle also landed on the injured list this week, and while his hip inflammation does not sound like it rises to the same level of severity as Melton’s ankle issue, the Cleveland catching prospect will nevertheless not be making the majors any time soon. A healthy and productive return to action in the coming weeks could enable Ingle to reappear on the Diamond Diplomas list before too long.\n * Jhostynxon Garcia, OF (PIT): The rise of “The Password” was one of the more exciting prospect narratives to follow in 2025, but Garcia has struggled mightily in his first season with the Pirates organization in 2026. The outfielder has an OPS of just .531 through his first 14 games with their Triple-A affiliate, and now finds himself on the injured list as well.\n\n\n\n## Sign up for Prospects Live\n\nYour one stop shop for Dynasty Fantasy Baseball, MLB Draft, Baseball Card & MiLB Baseball content.
