Louisville took the final game of their series over Cal 8-5, and still came away with the Series L, but 3 tanks from Davis on Sunday made it 5 for him on the weekend, bringing his season total 24, the best in the country. Of the Sunday longballs, all three were hit at 100+ mph with the first and third ones hit at 110. Launching home runs at explosive speeds and distances is nothing new for Davis, but with this frequency is scary to see. Louisville is squarely on the outside looking in for the playoff picture, but I’ll be rooting for them to watch him on the big stage.\n\n### Brody DeLamielleure, RF Florida State (Atlantic Coast)\n\n2-for-3, HR, 2B, R, 3 RBI\n\nFlorida State is firmly rolling now as they completed a sweep over Notre Dame with a comeback 6-4 victory. Brody DeLamielleure entered the game early replacing an injured John Stuetzer, who left after being cleated on a SB. DeLamielleure played next man up hero with a double and homer in his 3 PAs, scoring 3 runners, and crossing the plate once himself.
