"textContent": "Howdy, folks! I really liked last week’s format, so we're going to keep doing it that way in hopes that you do, too: lots of players, which raises the chances some of them are on your dynasty team! See, I knew you’d love it.\n\nWe’re slowly exiting the ultra-small sample size era of the season, and may be seeing the beginning of which guys are turning their fads into trends, and vice-versa. If you can time this window just right, you may be able to grab players at their last buy-low or sell-high moments. By happenstance, a bunch of these guys made or will be making their debuts as somewhat older prospects. Kyle Stowers and Alec Burleson are powerful examples of patience being a virtue, and you never know - maybe a guy like Ryan Ward could follow their paths one day?\n\nSunday Smoke - Prospects LiveProspects LiveDarren Eisenhauer\n\n### Kyle Stowers, MIA OF\n\nMy 5 OF leagues are grateful.\n\nWelcome back, Mr. Stowers! After blasting 25 bombs alongside a .288 BA and .368 OBP in just 117 games last season, Kyle Stowers was being heavily undervalued in fantasy leagues heading into the 2026 campaign. Of course, he repaid my defense of him all offseason by getting injured for the first month, something that could have been better-timed. While last week would have been better due to GMs gradually learning to loathe the sight of injured players sitting around doing nothing, this might still be a better purchase price than if he starts mashing bombs all week. Last year’s average is probably a mirage (.250-.260 more likely), but he’ll still take a ton of walks and be a nice addition to anyone’s roster. As I write this, he’s got two hits and a walk already, which is nice!\n\n### Mike Trout, LAA OF / Yordan Alvarez, HOU DH\n\nMike Trout is the best hitter in baseball again?\n\nMike Trout is the best hitter in baseball this week, and Yordan Alvarez is the best hitter this season. I still think you should trade both. During the offseason, it’s easy to say things like “buy low, sell high” as a detached concept…but it’s a whole ‘nother beast actually pulling the trigger for some GMs! Listen, it’s better for baseball if these fellas stay healthy and continue mashing, so I’m not rooting for their demise like some kind of sick puppy - I’m just looking at their history and not feeling like playing Russian Roulette with my fantasy teams, especially in dynasty formats.\n\nI am encouraged that Trout was able to play 130 games in 2025, and perhaps that offers hope that he can have a renewed golden age in his mid-thirties. However, it’s worth remembering that the last time Trout breached the 130-game threshold was in 2019, so the risk is still high.\n\nI’ve written and podcasted about Yordan plenty so far, but I just wanted to reiterate that my stance has not changed: deal him! He's an absolute stud, but I have him in one league and am trying to sell in the right deal whilst living in fear that he'll physically break down at any given moment. While Chase DeLauter is a far cry from proven MVP-level talent and is still showing plenty of promise, he's now entered a cold snap, and the value is consequently plummeting. Again, selling high is a tricky art to master.\n\n### This post is for subscribers only\n\nBecome a member to get access to all content\n\nSubscribe now",
