‼️ Cam Schlittler, RHP NYY (MLB)

6.1 IP, 2 H, 7 K

I apologize in advance, but I see it coming. I'm going to make you sick of Cam Schlittler. Yes, I did draft him on a pretty important fantasy team, but the right-hander is forcing himself on us. My hope, is that I'm not jinxing him. The young right-hander had a second straight scoreless outing with his xERA sitting at 0.83. He hasn't allowed a barrel yet this season, I know it's just two starts, and it's hard to find something negative to say.

70 PLIVE-, Peak Projection: 3.84 ERA, 24.2% K, 9.9% BB, 14.2% K-BB, 45.8% GB

Ramon Laureano, OF SDP (MLB)

2-for-4, HR, 2 R, 2 RBI

Ramon Laureano is going to bat in the middle of the order for San Diego, and as long as he's healthy, play everyday. He's off to another strong start as the outfielder hit his second home run of the season on Wednesday. Laureano is up to four RBI while batting .389. Even though it's not going to last, it's certainly fun to see Laureano's .778 SLG and .894 xSLG.

148 PLIVE+, Peak Projection: 24 HR, 13 SB, 7.2% BB, 25.6% K, .252/.319/.444, 111 wRC+

Corbin Carroll, OF ARI (MLB)

2-for-3, HR, R, RBI, BB

What injury? Any concern regarding Corbin Carroll and his hamate bone injury should truly be in the past now. Carroll hit his second home run of the season on Wednesday as he reached base three times in five plate appearances. He's hitting .333 with eight RBI, but it's the power that has truly caught my attention. Again, I know the sample is small, but Carroll has a .429 ISO and .762 SLG.

184 PLIVE+, Peak Projection: 26 HR, 33 SB, 10.8% BB, 20.5% K, .264/.353/.494, 135 wRC+

Nico Hoerner, 2B CHC (MLB)

3-for-5, 2 2B, R, RBI, K, SB

Against right-handers, Nico Hoerner bats fifth in the order, but against southpaws we see him leading off. That was the case on Wednesday as the second baseman doubled twice and stole his fourth base of the season. Hoerner is hitting .318 with four doubles as it appears to be another strong season for the second baseman who should be a strong source of batting average and speed.

127 PLIVE+, Peak Projection: 6 HR, 28 SB, 7.0% BB, 10.2% K, .276/.335/.373, 99 wRC+

Carlos Correa, SS HOU (MLB)

1-for-4, HR, R, 3 RBI

Whether it's been at shortstop or third base, Carlos Correa has hit to start the season. It's was a slow start offensively for the Astros, but they have found their groove as of late and Correa has been a big part of that. On Wednesday, he hit his first home run of the season. The three run shot was the decided blow in the game and gave him seven RBI on the season along with a .296 average.

141 PLIVE+, Peak Projection: 18 HR, 1 SB, 9.3% BB, 19.3% K, .264/.336/.421, 111 wRC+

Garrett Mitchell, OF MIL (MLB)

2-for-4, R, 2 RBI, 2 K, SB

We can never have enough stolen bases. Despite batting in the middle of the order for Milwaukee, Garrett Mitchell has been eager to run to begin the season. He's not your tradition power threat, but Mitchell did drive in two runs on Wednesday giving him five RBI. More importantly, he stole his third base of the season.

139 PLIVE+, Peak Projection: 17 HR, 25 SB, 9.4% BB, 26.8% K, .248/.325/.406, 104 wRC+

‼️ Kevin Gausman, RHP TOR (MLB)

6 IP, 2 H, 10 K

The lengthy workload from the postseason hasn't appeared to have any impact on Kevin Gausman as we begin 2026. You have to take advantage of your opponent, and in this case, it was the Colorado Rockies as Gausman had a dominant start on Wednesday. He limited the Rockies to just two hits while striking out 10 batters to bring his ERA down to 0.75. With strikes on 67 of his 89 pitches, Gausman was also quite efficient.

66 PLIVE-, Peak Projection: 3.62 ERA, 23.9% K, 7.3% BB, 16.6% K-BB, 38.7% GB

‼️ Sandy Alcantara, RHP MIA (MLB)

9 IP, 3 H, 7 K
