While the Cardinal flashed a combination of team production and power all weekend, they never did it in tandem as they did on Monday. First to flex their muscles, Eric Jeon hit a home run at 420β to start the scoring, then Jimmy Nati sent a ball 468β to the L-CF trees. In the next inning, Teddy Tokheim lined a homer 417β, and lastly, Charlie Bates yanked a homer 458β. Yes, there might have been a heat wave in the Bay Area, which can turn Sunken Diamond into a launch pad, but this is power that the Cardinal have yet to flash this season, and can turn them into a dangerous club if they are in fact entering a hot stretch. Thatβs 47 runs for Stanford in about 24 hours (3 games) for those counting at home.\n\n### This post is for subscribers only\n\nBecome a member to get access to all content\n\nSubscribe now",
