MLB Hitter Bold Predictions
We are on the cusp of games that count on both the MLB and MiLB fronts. Teams are making their final roster decisions and preparing to head north (or east, west, south) from their Spring Training sites to their respective MLB (or MiLB) cities. The 2026 season will, no doubt, bring us plenty of excitement, incredible moments, and achievements. The elite players will prove why they are elite, and the next wave of young stars will take steps forward and improve their dynasty (and real-life) value through tremendous performance.
In this four-part series, the Dynasty Team will endeavor to forecast what they think might come to pass in 2026 – in grand fashion, of course – what other way is there to do it? Some of these predictions are more realistic than others, but just like dynasty baseball, we are here to have fun, so let's get to it!
This third article focuses on MLB hitters, take a peek at what the Dynasty Team thinks might happen this year.

This is your boldest of the bold predictions, considering Crews is starting in the minors, but I don't think it'll be for long. Crews hasn't lived up to his hype since he's been drafted. A left oblique strain in May of 2025 definitely hampered Crew’s sophomore season. He saw only 322 plate appearances, and while the home run and stolen base totals were nice, the batting average was way too low. But Crews has some good things going for him. He has above-average bat speed at 73 mph, is in the 89th percentile for sprint speed, and we saw his barrel rate increase by 3% despite an injury. Crews took a pitch off the hand in the spring, but reports are that it’s just a contusion. I think people are forgetting just how talented he is because it’s been two years in the majors, and he hasn’t made his mark yet. In college Crews hit .380 with 58 home runs, 23 stolen bases with more walks than strikeouts. He needs to hit more balls in the air, and there is a good chance that comes as he gets more comfortable with MLB pitching. If Crews can prove himself in the minor leagues early in the season, he should get called back up quickly, and I can see that switch flipping as he figures things out.
