MiLB Pitcher Bold Predictions

We are on the cusp of games that count on both the MLB and MiLB fronts. Teams are making their final roster decisions and preparing to head north (or east, west, south) from their Spring Training sites to their respective MLB (or MiLB) cities. The 2026 season will, no doubt, bring us plenty of excitement, incredible moments, and achievements. The elite players will prove why they are elite, and the next wave of young stars will take steps forward and improve their dynasty (and real-life) value through tremendous performance.

In this four-part series, the Dynasty Team will endeavor to forecast what they think might come to pass in 2026 – in grand fashion, of course – what other way is there to do it? Some of these predictions are more realistic than others, but just like dynasty baseball, we are here to have fun, so let's get to it!

This second article focuses on MiLB pitchers, take a peek at what the Dynasty Team thinks might happen this year.

Kendry Rojas saw his stuff tick up in a big way this spring, with his fastball and slider both gaining about 2 mph, along with increased spin and movement on the slider and changeup. This bold prediction comes with a couple of caveats. The Minnesota Twins are in a bit of a retool, and there is a scenario in which Joe Ryan gets moved for a haul of younger talent, which would open up a clearer path up the depth chart. At the same time, Rojas simply has some nasty stuff. If these improvements stick, he could be working with three pitches that grade out as average or better. Health will be key, but if he can log around 120 innings with this upgraded arsenal, he could be knocking on the door of the majors. Given the lack of established arms in the Twins’ rotation, there is even a path where he begins to work his way toward the front of that group sooner rather than later.
