It’s their longest streak since 1989, and while the final game was won on the tightest margin, it also saw one of the series most explosive offensive performances with Grad transfer 1B Daniel Murillo going 4/4 with a jack. Murillo’s homer gave Cal an early lead, with the homer traveling far to LF. In his first year in NCAA action, Murillo is up to 4 HRs on the year, striking out less than 10%. The Bears play at San Jose State on Tuesday, then take on #15 North Carolina this weekend. SP Gavin Eddy also had a strong day, going 7 IP, allowing 2 runs, and striking out 9.\n\n### 🍔🍟 Jarren Purify, 2B Clemson (Atlantic Coast)\n\n3-for-3, HR, 4 R, 4 RBI, SB\n\n### Nate Savoie, C Clemson (Atlantic Coast)\n\n3-for-3, HR, 2B, 2 R, 6 RBI, SB\n\nClemson closed out a 4-game sweep of their own against La Salle, this one of the run-rule variety, and it came with some monster performances from the top of their lineup. Lead off man Jarren Purify mixed a home run with a walk and a 3-hit day. Purify’s blast went out to L-CF, leaving at 102 mph and traveling 375’. It put the Tigers up 9-3, and just after, C Nate Savoie left his mark on the game with a 2-run double, and then a grand slam, which the latter ended the game. Savoie’s homer traveled 409’. Both players tallied a stolen base as well in the stat-sheet stuffer. Purify is a draft-eligible Junior, but will be just 20.7 years old in July and is up to a .390 AVG. Savoie is a transfer from LMU and will be eligible in ‘27.\n\n### This post is for subscribers only\n\nBecome a member to get access to all content\n\nSubscribe now",
