"textContent": "## Atlantic Coast\n\n _Covered by: Will Dodge_\n\n### Tague Davis, 1B Louisville (Atlantic Coast)\n\n2-for-3, HR, 2B, 2 R, 6 RBI, BB\n\n### Griffin Crain, LF Louisville (Atlantic Coast)\n\n2-for-3, HR, 2 R, 3 RBI, BB\n\nThe Louisville Cardinals completed a blowout win over the Seton Hall Pirates, 16-1 in 7 innings, and did it with a 7-run second and third innings. Tague Davis has been a frequent visitor on the dailies and was a force again with a 3-run double that was the exclamation point in the second, and a 3-run blast was the cherry on top in the third. His HR was a laser that was pulled to RF, leaving the bat at 111mph. The ‘27 eligible 1b/OFer is already up to 6 HRs on the season. He had an early exit, pinch run for in the fifth inning while the Cards were up 14-1. Griffin Crain had a 2-run homer for himself in the third as well, and mixed in an RBI single earlier. The Crain HR, which was his first of the year, travelled 395’ to R-CF. He, too, is a '27-eligible player off to a hot start, though better known for his hit tool, entering today with a .447 AVG & a 2:1 BB: K ratio.\n\n### Eric Becker, SS Virginia (Atlantic Coast)\n\n3-for-4, 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI\n\n### Harrison Didawick, LF Virginia (Atlantic Coast)\n\n1-for-2, HR, 3 R, 3 RBI, 2 BB\n\nThe Virginia Cavaliers had a huge Friday night statement against Jason DeCaro and the #6-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels with a 13-3 win in 7 innings. First round hopeful Eric Becker filled the statsheet with 3 hits and a HBP. He’s been as cool as a cucumber all season with a .364 AVG now on the season with 10 XBHs. Like Davis, it feels like Becker is making the Daily sheet every day. Senior Harrison Didawick joined in on the action with a homer and two walks. He’s been off to a slower start, but he got on the board today with his first HR, when he pulled a sixth-inning FB to R-CF, leaving the bat at 108 mph and travelling 390’. It’s his 34th career HR, all with the Hoos, moving up to 5th on their all-time list. He likely won’t make much draft love, but he’ll always have his impressive 2024 23-HR season.\n\n### 🍔🍟 Tryston McCladdie, CF Clemson (Atlantic Coast)\n\n1-for-3, HR, 3 R, 3 RBI, 2 BB, SB\n\nThe Clemson Tigers beat up on La Salle in a Friday night run-rule victory, 14-1 in 7 innings. CFer Tryston McCladdie had an explosive first few innings, including a home run, two walks, and a stolen base. His 3-run homer to CF in the 3rd sneaked just over the wall, leaving the bat at 102 mph. Playing mostly the INF up until this year, McCladdie has gotten a look in the OF the last couple of days as the Tigers shake up their lineup. He is draft eligible as a college player for the first time this year.\n\n### Drew Berkland, CF Notre Dame (Atlantic Coast)\n\n3-for-4, HR, 2 2B, 3 R, RBI, BB\n\n### Bino Watters, LF Notre Dame (Atlantic Coast)\n\n3-for-5, HR, 2 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI\n\n### ‼️ Jack Radel, RHP Notre Dame (Atlantic Coast)\n\n7 IP, 4 H, ER, 2 BB, 9 K, HRA\n\nNotre Dame and Duke kicked off a notable series this weekend, with both schools entering today with offenses rolling. The Blue Devil attack took a tough blow on Thursday with the announcement that C Cider Canon would be put on the shelf for at least eight weeks, and the Irish dealt no mercy with a 10-4 statement win. The game had the look of a pitching duel early, with both starters putting up economical innings, but Notre Dame pulled away with the 3-HR, 5-run 5th inning and didn’t look back. Drew Berkland hit in the leadoff spot, but got into his power today with his first HR of the season, to kick off the HR-parade. He sandwiched that blast with two doubles and a walk. He’s a transfer from Minnesota who played mostly C for 3 seasons, but is manning CF for the Irish, and was off to a coolish start to the season entering today, only hitting .273 with 2 XBHs, but more than doubled that total today. Bino Watters did Bino Watters things, almost copying Berkland’s stat line without the walk, also homered in the 5th. After a colder start to the season following a huge Freshman campaign, Watters is looking to break out and hit his 4th HR of the season on Friday. But the real star for the Irish was RHP Jack Radel, fresh off being named to the First Team of the February PLive Draft TotM, who kept it rolling with 7 impressive innings and was incredibly efficient, with 31 of his first 32 pitches thrown in the zone. He finished with 67 strikes on 92 pitches. Radel still got his punchouts in with 9 on the outing. If not for a seventh-inning solo homer by Michael DiMartini, Radel was cruising with a shutout. He lowered his ERA to 1.57 and WHIP to 0.61, and is up to 33 Ks in 23 IP.\n\n### Caden Dulin, SS Pittsburgh (Atlantic Coast)\n\n1-for-2, 2 R, 2 RBI, 2 BB\n\n### 💣💣 Lorenzo Carrier, RF Pittsburgh (Atlantic Coast)\n\n3-for-3, 2 HR, 3 R, 8 RBI, BB\n\nThe Pitt Panthers came away with one of their easiest wins of the season to kick off a West Coast road trip, beating San Jose State 20-1 in 7 innings. The Panthers had two 8-run innings in the first 3 innings, and got the rout started before the Western sunset. SS Caden Dulin kept finding his way on base and scoring with a single, a hit by pitch, and 2 walks. The Senior is up to 17 walks+HBPs in 36 PAs this season. For the second weekend in a row, Lorenzo Carrier blasted his way to the Daily Sheet with 3 hits, including 2 homers (one of which was a GS) and 8 RBIs. The fifth-year senior is finally breaking out now, up to 5 HRs on the year and slashing .425/.545/.921. As mentioned in his last appearance in the sheet, Carrier was a notable prep prospect way back in the 2021 class as a commit with fellow ACC foe Miami. The Panthers face the Spartans all weekend, then head to Stanford next weekend to get their first notable test.\n\n### 🆕 Dylan Dubovik, LF Miami (FL) (Atlantic Coast)\n\n3-for-5, HR, R, 4 RBI\n\n### Cesar Gonzalez, RHP Boston College (Atlantic Coast)\n\n3 IP, 4 H, BB, 6 K\n\nThe Hurricanes' freshman is off to an incredible start to his college career, entering today with an AVG over .500 and SLG’ing over 1.000, and added a 3-hit game with a home run in a losing effort. Dubovik’s 3-run HR in the second inning put Miami up 5, left his bat at 102 mph and went 405’. He was our 222nd overall prospect in the 2025 draft, and while it’s incredibly early, he looks to have made a good decision to make it to campus. Still, as mentioned, the Boston College Eagles were the ones to come away with the victory, winning in 11 innings, and that was with the help of Cesar Gonzalez pitching 3 shutout innings out of the pen with 6 strikeouts. It’s the identical stat line that he put up in the ACC tournament last year, and last year was up to 94. The right-hander entered today with a 32K%, and could get some consideration for the rotation if he keeps this up.\n\n### 🆕 Will Bavaro, 3B Florida State (Atlantic Coast)\n\n2-for-3, HR, 2B, R, 2 RBI\n\n### ‼️ Wes Mendes, LHP Florida State (Atlantic Coast)\n\n5.1 IP, H, ER, 4 BB, 12 K\n\nFlorida State had a great start to a get-right series versus Northern Kentucky, and the Seminoles were led by a freshman on an awesome tear. 3B Will Bavaro, in just his 3rd start, recorded his first career HR last time out, and did it again Friday night. After mixing a double earlier in the game too, Bavaro is up to 5 hits and 2 walks in just 11 plate appearances, and now has 3 XBHs to go along with it. Florida State ace Wes Mendes had a terrific start as well with 12 strikeouts in just 5.1 IP. The draft eligible lefty is up a mph this year and entered the season 58th on our College 100 list.\n\n### Hideki Prather, C Cal (Atlantic Coast)\n\n3-for-5, HR, 3 R, RBI\n\n### ‼️ Oliver De La Torre, RHP Cal (Atlantic Coast)\n\n6 IP, 5 H, ER, BB, 9 K\n\nAfter a slow start, the Golden Bears are rolling with an 11-1 walk-off run rule win in 8 over U of San Diego. Cal pitching has improved tremendously over the short course of the season, as they combined for 12 strikeouts, and 9 of them came from the arm of starter Oliver de la Torre. He sat 90-92 throughout his outing, but the righty’s best pitch is his CH, and he registered 6 strikeouts with the cambio. All of his punch-outs came in the first 4 innings. His command briefly wavered in the fifth and sixth after San Diego HC Brock Ungricht tried to play some gamesmanship with an extended offensive timeout, then a maybe intentional ejection leading to a ~5 min delay, but after a double play and a couple soft groundouts, de la Torre finished his outing strong. He is ‘26 eligible. The other top performer for the Bears was C Hideki Prather, who sandwiched a no-doubt homer to LF, his 4th, with two softly hit singles. The leadoff hitting catcher also had a good game behind the plate, stealing multiple strikes and guiding the Cal pitching staff. After only 4 PAs in 2 years at Clemson, Prather is back in his hometown and off to a roaring start, slashing .417/.491/.729 entering today. He, too, is ‘26 eligible. The Bears' hot stretch will be tested next weekend as they welcome North Carolina for a weekend set.\n\n### ‼️ Blake Morningstar, RHP Wake Forest (Atlantic Coast)\n\n6 IP, 2 H, ER, 2 BB, 11 K, HRA\n\nWake Forest has a ninth-inning scare but still held on vs Stanford, winning 7-4. Blake Morningstar was electric for the second straight week and looks to have settled into his Friday night role. He punched out a career high 11 Stanford hitters, only allowing 2 hits, 2 walks, and 1 run in 6 excellent innings. His velo hit a season-high at 97, and did a terrific job attacking the zone with a 64% zone rate, yet was still able to generate whiffs at a 39% clip. Morningstar was every bit of the 28th best College prospect, which was where we ranked him entering the year, and more. First basemen Kade Lewis led the offensive charge for the Demon Deacons, with a three-hit day, including 2 doubles and a stolen base. Lewis will be a young player for this college draft class, and his statline reads nearly identical to what it was last year, which is terrific news for the lefty.\n\n### Kade Lewis, 1B Wake Forest (Atlantic Coast)\n\n3-for-5, 2 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI, SB\n\n* * *\n\n## Big 12\n\n _Covered by: Drew Wheeler_\n\n### ‼️ Colter McAnelly, RHP Utah (Big 12)\n\n6.0 IP, 2 H, 3 BB, 9 K\n\nJake’s boy Colter McAnelly shined in the Utes’ new home of America First Ballpark; in fact, the right-hander had a no-hitter rolling into the fifth inning of the contest. Draft eligible this season, the Utes’ Friday-night guy ended the day with a sterling quality start on the back of his fastball and curveball combination.\n\n### 💣💣💣 Quinton Coats, 1B Cincinnati (Big 12)\n\nGame 1: 2-for-3, HR, 2B, 3 R, 3 RBI, K\n\nGame 2: 2-for-4, 2 HR, 2 R, 4 RBI, K\n\n### Jack Natili, C Cincinnati (Big 12)\n\nGame 1: 2-for-4, HR, R, 3 RBI, K\n\nGame 2: 2-for-4, 2 2B, 2 R, 2 K\n\nThe consistency from the leading men in the Cincinnati lineup has hopefully been conveying well in the College Daily Sheet’s early going; Coats went absolutely nuclear on the day, racking up three home runs – which I’ll be giving the Throng of Dongs denotation (but you can say double-dong if you prefer) – which started in the first game of the day in the top third, a two-run 438-foot donk. In the second game, Coats went off, starting again in the third, where he went deep center on a solo shot before rounding out the day in the top fourth with a three-run strike which raced 392 feet to deep right. Coats has been one of my favorites on the season and will be a threat for day one in next year’s 2027 draft. For his part, Natili has done a lot to hold ground as a top collegiate catcher in the 2026 class but has certainly fallen behind several, including Vahn Lackey, Carson Tinney, and Mark Quatrani in my mind; either way, a player of Natili’s skill does not grow on trees and should be a day-one selection this summer. Over two games, Natili batted .500 with three runs three RBI, three strikeouts, two doubles, and a first-game homer, a 429-foot blast to deep center.\n\n### 💣💣 Christian Mitchelle, 3B Cincinnati (Big 12)\n\n2-for-3, 2 HR, 2 R, 5 RBI\n\nMitchelle, a two-way senior operating at third base on the day, excelled with a double dong performance which kicked off in the top half of the second with a two-run bop to deep right (a 347-foot shot). Mitchelle rounded off the two-prong attack with a 400-footer in the following frame, knocking this three-run shot to deep left. It’s required by law we mention the double dong and I’m proud to do it for the kid, who really clobbered his second homer of the day.\n\n### 🍔🍟 Jackson Smith, 2B Cincinnati (Big 12)\n\n2-for-2, HR, 2B, 3 R, 4 RBI, 2 BB, SB\n\nSmith got every bit of an 0-1 fastball left too much on Main Street and lifted it out of the ballpark for a 387-foot grand slam. On the day, Smith, who led off for the Bearcats, also went 2-for-2 with two walks, three runs, a double, and a stolen base. Enjoy the extra-loaded combo meal, sir, I sure did!\n\n### ‼️ Owen Kramkowski, RHP Arizona (Big 12)\n\n6.0 IP, 5 H, 9 K\n\nAfter a 7-2 loss to Oregon last Friday, this is the kind of bounceback the world needed from the mercurial Owen Kramkowski. Kram started the game by surrendering a triple to Fresno State’s Brady Hewitt and allowed runners to reach base in each of the first three frames; however, the right-hander settled in and put his unique delivery and for the first time on the season, batters really bit, leading to Kramkowski amassing a career-high 12 punchouts – all of which were of the swinging variety. Arizona needs many things at the moment, but consistency from their Friday starter, who was our 33rd ranked NCAA prospect for the draft earlier in the year, is one at or near the top of the list.\n\n### Tony Lira, 1B Arizona (Big 12)\n\n2-for-4, HR, R, 3 RBI, BB, K\n\nThe ongoing saga of “Dr. Arizona and Mr. Wildcats” continues as I cannot figure out what to make of the preseason darlings who have been nothing short of disappointing to kick off the 2026 season. Freshman first baseman Tony Lira has been one of the Wildcats' most consistent with the stick, though, and gets a nod of respect for his three-run shot to left in the bottom first.\n\n### 💣💣 Bear Madliak, C Kansas State (Big 12)\n\n2-for-4, 2 HR, 2 R, 4 RBI\n\n### A.J. Evasco, RF Kansas State (Big 12)\n\n2-for-4, HR, 2B, 2 R, 5 RBI, BB\n\n### Ty Smolinski, 1B Kansas State (Big 12)\n\n4-for-4, HR, 2 2B, 3 R, 3 RBI\n\nThe Wildcats have been one of the squads atop my mental pile of Big XII teams early in the year and their 14-5 win over SIU Edwardsville showed why. Catcher Bear Madilak posted a double dong day, with his first coming bottom second, a solo shot 417 feet to deep center. Madilak’s second was in the bottom seventh to deep left, 402 feet to amass 819 feet of bomb on the day. AJ Evasco continued his big campaign with a five-RBI contribution, including a grand slam in the bottom first, clobbering the first pitch he saw to right center field. First Baseman Ty Smoliski also had a tremendous day at the plate, going 4-for-4 with two doubles (including a bases-clearing shot) and a bottom-second homer to deep left which went 375 feet.\n\n### 💣💣 Riley Jackson, 1B Houston (Big 12)\n\n4-for-5, 2 HR, 2B, 3 R, 3 RBI\n\nHave yourself a day, Riley. The double dong effort started in the bottom second when Jackson clocked a solo shot 370 feet to left; it reached the next level in the bottom eighth when Jackson went 384 feet to put the game out of commission for the Bearcats. With a double to his name and three runs and ribbies each, Jackson stamped his name to the close game in a big way.\n\n### Carsten Sabathia, DH Houston (Big 12)\n\n1-for-4, HR, 2 R, RBI, BB, K\n\nSabathia scored both times he was on base – in the bottom second, he knocked a solo shot 375 feet to deep left field on a 2-2 count. Later, the Bearcats’ DH walked to first then scored again. I wondered early in the season if I was falling victim to the bloodlines narrative with Carsten, but I think he’s got a special bat with talent and it’s nice to see this early-season success.\n\n### 💣💣 👟 Jordan Bach, RF Kansas (Big 12)\n\n2-for-5, HR, 2 R, 4 RBI, BB, 2 SB\n\nBach composed another robust performance from the top of the Jayhawks’ order. In the home side of the sixth, Bach slipped a shot over the left field wall in the corner (only 338 feet) for his third homer of the year, a three-run bop. Completing his combo meal, Bach swiped a pair of bags in a stat-sheet-stuffing performance for one of the Big XII’s best.\n\n### Travis Sanders, SS Baylor (Big 12)\n\n3-for-4, 2 2B, R\n\n### Ty Johnson, LF Baylor (Big 12)\n\n2-for-4, 3B, 2 R, RBI, SB\n\n### Brady Janusek, RF Baylor (Big 12)\n\n3-for-4, 2B, 2 R, RBI, K\n\nThe Bears’ offense certainly wasn’t paid by the inning on Friday, choosing to stack their seven runs among the fourth and sixth innings primarily. Shortstop Travis Sanders went 3-for-4, amassing a pair of doubles; in the bottom fourth inning, the Baylor outfield led the offense when left fielder Ty Johnson came up with a triple to right field, driving in a run. Later in the frame, right fielder Brady Janusek knocked a double to right field and drove in another. The outfielders combined for five hits and four runs in addition to their pair of RBI. Baylor has been a frustrating, but talented team and multi-hit games from their regular contributors is nice to see for their long-term prospects.\n\n* * *\n\n## Big Ten\n\n _Covered by: Brandon Payne_\n\n### ‼️ Cole Selvig, RHP Minnesota (Big Ten)\n\n5 IP, 2 H, 7 K\n\nSelvig was electric for 5 innings on Friday. He only allowed 2 hits and struck out 7. He didn't walk anyone but did have a HBP. Selvig did all of this with just 64 pitches making this an efficient start. He is now 3-0 with 4 starts and has 25K in 20 IP.\n\n### ‼️ Mason Edwards, LHP USC (Big Ten)\n\n6 IP, 2 H, 2 BB, 11 K\n\nThe USC Trojans just keep on rolling and are now 13-0 thanks to Friday night starter Mason Edwards. The JR southpaw improved his record to 3-0 and still has not allowed an earned run in 24 IP. He struck out 11 bringing his season total to 42 and allowed 2 hits bringing that season total to 3. Yep you read that correctly just 3 hits allowed.\n\n### Case Sanderson, 1B Nebraska (Big Ten)\n\n3-for-5, HR, 2B, 2 R, RBI, K\n\nSanderson was on the case Friday night. He helped the Cornhuskers solve their opponents the Michigan St. Spartans. Sanderson was 3-5 including his first homerun of the season. He is having a productive year and is second on the team in hits with 18.\n\n### ‼️ Logan Reddemann, RHP UCLA (Big Ten)\n\n6 IP, 3 H, 10 K\n\nNot to be outdone by the Bruin offense, Logan Reddemann stamped his name on this game by way of a stellar pitching performance. He faced 22 batters and struck out 10 while allowing just 3 hits and not allowing a walk. Five of his ten strike outs came by challenging batters with high fastballs and they had no chance. And 8 of 10 were swinging strike outs. The JR is now 4-0 on the year with a 2.95 ERA and 33K to 4BB in 21.1 IP.\n\n### Will Gasparino, CF UCLA (Big Ten)\n\n1-for-4, HR, R, 2 RBI, BB, K\n\nI just have to imagine that in Westwood, California, there is UCLA head coach John Savage, and he is sitting there just smiling, shaking his head, and just thinking of he he was able to recruit this amount of offensive talent. As Roch goes, so does Will. Gasparino now has 11 homeruns on the year. Oh did I mention that he and the team have only played 13 games? Will Gasparino is certainly making a case to be drafted higher than most think he will.\n\n### Mulivai Levu, 1B UCLA (Big Ten)\n\n4-for-6, HR, 4 R, 3 RBI\n\nThe UCLA Bruin offense is led by a Big 3 of Cholowsky, Gasparino, and Levu. And boy did Mulivai Levu ever show off his contact ability in this game. He went 4-6 including an oppo taco homerun for his 3rd on the year. The JR first baseman is now slashing .393/.460/.589 over 13 games and 63 plate apperances.\n\n### Roch Cholowsky, SS UCLA (Big Ten)\n\n1-for-2, HR, 4 R, 2 RBI, 3 BB\n\nYep, he's done it again. Your next 1.1 draft pick absolutely nuked a ball over the left centerfield fence on Friday at Nick Swisher field. This was Cholowsky's 8th homerun in just 46 ABs. That is ludicrous. This homerun for Roch went 428 feet and exited at 111 mph with a launch angle of 25 degrees. There's not much more you can say about this kid other than welcome to the White Sox.\n\n* * *\n\n## Mid Majors\n\n _Covered by: Brandon Tew_\n\n### ‼️ Eric Nachtsheim, RHP McNeese State (Mid Majors)\n\n9.0 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 16 K\n\nA physical 6-foot-4 235-pound righty, he's struckout 43.3% of batters so far this season, with a 1.17 ERA in 23 innings. Yesterday he threw a complete game, striking out 16 batters. The fastball looks lively on video and might have a bit of cut, too. There's also a decent slider he's spinning. The blue turf of the mound and around the bases isn't the only flashy thing for McNeese right now, as Nachtseim looks like a dude to keep an eye on.\n\n### Anthony Potestio, SS UC San Diego (Mid Majors)\n\nGame 1: 0-for-2, K\n\nGame 2: 2-for-3, SB\n\n### Tanner Marsh, SS Liberty (Mid Majors)\n\n1-for-2, 2B, 3 R, 2 RBI, 3 BB, SB\n\nTanner Marsh was patient yesterday and racked up three free passes along with a double and a stolen base. Marsh is slahsing .318/4.56/.933 this season, and the Flames are on a 7-game win streak. With a solid win versus Harvard on Friday afternoon, the lineup will look to keep it rolling with some ACC midweek matchups in a week and a half.\n\n### ‼️ Ben Blair, RHP Liberty (Mid Majors)\n\n5 IP, 3 H, 10 K\n\nBen Blair is a sidearm righty with a fast arm and big extension. He moves quickly on the mound and touches upper-90s with a gaudy four-seam fastball that he can blow by hitters up in the zone. It's an east-west in some aspects, as everything seems to have lift to it from his slot. Five innings and 10 punchies with no walks. Nice day at the office. For Liberty, every Friday, they will have a chance to win with him pitching like this!\n\n### 💣💣 🍔🍟 Liam Ebbs, 1B Lafayette (Mid Majors)\n\n3-for-5, 2 HR, 3 R, 2 RBI, SB\n\nLafayette rolled into Raleigh and took game one of a weekend series, clobbering the baseball against the WolfPack. The Leporads pounced on their prey early, knocking around starter Julien Peissel, who gave up 5 ERs in just one inning. Ebbs picked up the first hit of the day and got himself into scoring position with a swiped bag. Two walks and a Grand Slam later by Boden Fernsler, followed by a Bode Grieve long ball to left as well, 5-0 after one half inning. Ebbs homered to center field in the 2nd and then hit an oppo taco to left in the 7th. He might as well have been at Chipotle, loading up on double meat with some guac. Ryan Ulisse had himself a double-dong day as well, with 6 big flies in total as a team. Lafayette showed up on Friday.\n\n### ‼️ Tristan Helmick, RHP Lafayette (Mid Majors)\n\n8.0 IP, 8 H, 2 ER, 3 K\n\nTristan Helmick is a tall 6-6 junior right-hander who had is best outing of the season. He battled control issues and allowed some soft and hard contact against Miami (FL) on February 20th, surrendering 6 runs and unable to get out of the 4th inning. His second ACC opponent this season, he dominated with eight innings of two-run ball and mixed his arsenal while pounding the strike zone. A mid-80s mph change piece with good fade, a low-80s slider, and an upper-80s cutter rounded out with a low-90s fastball. It's more about the overall mix than quality for him—a nice upset by Lafayette as they look to take the series the rest of this weekend.\n\n### ‼️ Wade Walton, RHP High Point (Mid Majors)\n\n7.0 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, BB, 4 K\n\nFlorida native Wade Walton went into Gainesville and pitched with guts, keeping this High Point team in the game, pitching seven innings of two-run ball. Working with a 91-94 mph sinking fastball and a good mid-80s change that he will throw to both platoons. He managed traffic on the bases in the bottom of the 3rd and some threats in the 5th, 6th, and 7th, but he held his own. High Point broke through in the 7th with a shallow fliner fly and tacked on two more runs to make it 5-2. They added two more in the 9th and picked up a win over the Top-10 Gators in a true team performance.\n\n### Kyle Morrison, 2B Southern Mississippi (Mid Majors)\n\n2-for-4, HR, 3B, 2 R, 5 RBI\n\nKyle Morrison is a South Alabama transfer who played 52 games at 3B last season and is now shifted over to 2B with Drey Barrett at the hot corner. Morrison has a smooth operation in the box with a bat waggle for rhythm and a quick left-handed swing. He hammered a ball to deep center in the 1st and flipped the game back for Southern Miss. He then showed some wheels with a triple in the 3rd, doing his work early in this one. If he and Drey Barrett can anchor this lineup, that would be great for Southern Miss heading into Sun Belt play soon.\n\n### Jackson Flora, RHP UC Santa Barbara (Mid Majors)\n\n6.0 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 7 K\n\nIt's Jackson Flora bump day time to lock in... The UCSB ace is working from the right side of the rubber with a long frame and athleticism. He gave up a liner on a first-pitch fastball and then a dribbler to short off a high changeup that beat the shift—a Double steal with a somewhat slow move to the plate. Put runners on 2nd and 3rd. A chopper back up the middle by Dylan Lina on an away fastball opened the scoring. Long Beach State wouldn't score the rest of the outing against Flora. Almost mad at the first inning, he didn't allow another runner to reach 2nd. UCSB would take the lead in the bottom of the 6th before Flora came out in line for the win. A solid outing overall for Flora, and it was nice to see him bounce back after an uneven 1st inning. When you can rear back and touch triple-digits while throwing nasty breakers backdoor to lefties, Flora will have similar stretches for most of this season. Super-talented pitching arm is an understatement.\n\n### Rex Watson, RF Coastal Carolina (Mid Majors)\n\n1-for-2, HR, 4 RBI\n\nLet's end my first College Daily Sheet with the most exciting game of the day, an extra-innings thriller that went back-and-forth like a tennis match. East Carolina had a massive 8th inning with Austin Irby hitting a liner just over the head of the outstretched leaping 2B to tie the game. Jeff Sabater hit an infield single on a high chopper to third to give the Pirates the lead. A bases-loaded walk tacked on another. Coastal rallied in the bottom of the 8th with a clutch Blake Barthol single on a weird play at first base with two runners scoring on an infield single, and an amazing diving stop by 1B Irby to keep the ball on the infield after it hit the base in front of him. The pitcher Jenkins was late to cover 1st, and Brayden Horton hustled to score from second to score! Jenkins got himself into trouble in the bottom of the 9th but forced extras with back-to-back Ks. Rex Watson ended up being the hero in the 10th, a walk-off grand slam on an uppercut swing to drive it out to LF the opposite way. Spring Brooks Stadium was rocking, and this whole series should be fun to watch!\n\n* * *\n\n## Southeastern\n\n _Covered by: Brandon Payne_\n\n### 🍔🍟 👟 Bristol Carter, CF Auburn (Southeastern)\n\n2-for-3, HR, 3 R, 2 RBI, 2 BB, 3 SB\n\nI know a guy named Josh who also is apart of the Prospects Live team and I'm sure he is just as hyped about this performance. I don't know if you have ever heard of Bristol Motor Speedway or not, but this Bristol would fit right in. Not only did he eat a combo meal but he showed off his speed skills with 3 stolen bases in the game. 13 steals in 14 attempts for Carter on the year to go along with 4 homeruns is solid production.\n\n### 🍔🍟 Aiden Robbins, CF Texas (Southeastern)\n\n3-for-3, HR, 4 R, 3 RBI, 2 BB, SB\n\nThey say everything is bigger in Texas, so I would imagine that their combo meals are as well. I also enjoyed a combo meal last night from In-N-Out on my drive home from my moms house. Robbins was perfect at the plate with 3 hits in 3 AB adding on 2 walks and a stolen base. This performance gives him a 3 game hit streak going into Saturday's action.\n\n### Derek Curiel, CF Louisiana State (Southeastern)\n\n3-for-4, HR, 2 2B, 3 R, 3 RBI\n\nBrown got all of the glory for LSU, but let's not forget about Derek Curiel and his contribution to the Tigers 10 run ruling the Hornets. All of his hits went for multiple bases with a homerun and 2 doubles. That is a scary 1-2 lineup for any team to face. Curiel is right behind Brown in hits for the team with 21.\n\n### 🍔🍟 Justin Osterhouse, LF Alabama (Southeastern)\n\n4-for-5, HR, 2B, 3 R, 2 RBI, SB\n\nWhen you see the name Justin and the school Alabama, you would probably think of Justin Lebron, however there is another Justin. Justin Osterhouse now has 2 homeruns to his name and added a stolen base, where he is now a perfect 5 for 5 on stolen base attempts.\n\n### 🍔🍟 Noah Sullivan, 1B Mississippi State (Southeastern)\n\n4-for-5, HR, 2B, 2 R, 4 RBI, K, SB\n\nI'm not sure what the burger place of choice is in Starkville, but Noah Sullivan was in attendance on Friday night. 4-5 with a homerun, double, and a stolen base for the grad student just adds to his impressive season so far. Sullivan has started the month of March with a 5 game hit streak. In those 5 games he is 11-19 with 2 homeruns and 6RBI.\n\n### 💣💣💣 Jake Brown, OF Louisiana State (Southeastern)\n\n4-for-5, 3 HR, 4 R, 6 RBI\n\nBrown roared to life on Friday night as he took the sting out of the Sac St Hornets. A throng of dongs for Jake Brown of LSU to tie the school record. All 3 of his homeruns came in his first 3 at bats. The first homerun was a 2 run shot to left-center in the first inning. He then added his second homerun with a solo shot to centerfield in the second inning. And finally he capped off his night with a three run blast to right center. Brown now has 8 homeruns on the year with 26 RBI. In 71 plate appearances he is slashing .431/.479.877.\n\n### Liam Peterson, RHP Florida (Southeastern)\n\n5 IP, H, 2 ER, 4 BB, 11 K\n\nIf you are Florida fan, this wasn't how you wanted to start your weekend. A loss to High Point. Although to be fair to Liam Peterson it wasn't of his own doing. In fact he produced a solid outing with 11K in 5IP and just 1 hit allowed,\n\n### ‼️ Connor Fennell, RHP Vanderbilt (Southeastern)\n\n6 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 11 K\n\nCould the month of March possibly be the month of the Vandy Boys? Connor Fennell certainly thinks so after this performance. The JR RHP showed up and showed out, striking out 11 over 6IP. This is the Fennell we all saw last year and may it continue.\n\n### Tyler Fay, RHP Alabama (Southeastern)\n\n7 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, BB, 11 K, HRA\n\nFay hasn't had the best year so far. But this outing was the best of his college career. There is no doubt that Fay has the stuff to get batters out, however he is prone to giving up contact, 17 hits and 11 ER in 21.2 IP. On the flip side is his 26K to 5BB.\n\n### ‼️ Ruger Riojas, RHP Texas (Southeastern)\n\n6 IP, 4 H, ER, 12 K\n\nThe senior RHP was lights out on Friday night. 6 IP with 12K up Riojas totals to 42K over 22IP. Ruger struggled last year at Texas after his transfer from UTSA. In 18 games last year he put up a 5.61 ERA in 69IP, so it's nice to see him bounce back.",
