He went 4 innings not allowing a single run, with the only allowed baserunner being a batter he plunked in the 1st. He had everything going for him today. He flashed six different pitches with a four-seam, curveball, slider, and changeup getting the vast majority of the work. He sat mostly 89-92 with his four-seam, averaging a whopping 21” of IVB. His biggest whiff pitch yesterday was his curveball, which displayed insane depth and tunneled off the rest of his arsenal well. Along with the aforementioned slider and changeup, he flashed a cutter and two-seam once each. Pitching certainly hasn’t been the main strength for the Blue Devils over the past week, but it was certainly enough to shut down a Milwaukee offense who looked more than competent against the defending champs last week.\n\n### Drew Rogers, C Georgia Tech (Atlantic Coast)\n\n2-for-3, HR, 2 R, 6 RBI\n\nSometimes the less flashy names on these lists are the most fun to acknowledge. Drew Rogers gave Vahn Lackey a break from behind the plate in game 4 of their series against Stony Brook, and he made his presence known at the plate while doing so. In his first AB, he turned on a changeup and sent it to left field for a double that would bring across Ryan Zuckerman and the aforementioned Lackey to score. His most impactful AB of the day came in the 3rd inning when he absolutely massacred a ball 418 feet to dead center at 110 mph and drove in three more runs to extend their comfortable lead. After not registering a single extra base hit last weekend against Bowling Green, this showing could be what really kickstarts Rogers’ sophomore campaign, following a freshman year in which he eclipsed a 1.000 OPS.\n\n### This post is for subscribers only\n\nBecome a member to get access to all content\n\nSubscribe now",
