"textContent": "When Phil Lyman ran for governor in 2024, I ran with him for lieutenant governor. As a Utah-born and raised mother of five, and a BYU-trained attorney, I want CD3 voters to know why I am supporting Phil for Congress.\n\nNearly two-thirds of Utah’s land is controlled by Washington. The people who live on it, ranch on it and depend on it for their livelihoods have almost no say in how it is managed. Two unelected federal administrators exercise more practical authority over what happens on Utah soil than the Governor of this state.\n\nPhil is the only person in this race who has actually worked the land in the district he seeks to represent. As a state legislator he authored bills protecting road rights-of-way that federal agencies were closing without legal authority. He worked with the state’s Grazing Improvement Program to put in over 200 water wells between Utah’s two national monuments, maintaining rancher access before the federal government could lock it out. He founded the Yellowcake Caucus to fight for Utah’s energy resources. He served on Utah’s Water Commission. And when the BLM closed a historic route without legal authority, he stood with his neighbors, organizing the Recapture Canyon protest against federal overreach and receiving a full presidential pardon.\n\nThis is not a political resume. It is a life spent working for the people of this state.\n\nCD3 deserves a congressman who cannot be separated from the land and the families who depend on it. Phil Lyman is that person.\n\n_Natalie Clawson,_\n\n_Highland, Utah_",
