"textContent": "BYU has landed its first transfer big man of the offseason.\n\nTCU center Adam Stewart has committed to the Cougars, he announced Saturday via social media.\n\n> Committed! 🔵@BYUMBB pic.twitter.com/dHSewREVPo\n>\n> — Adam Stewart (@adamstew22) April 25, 2026\n\nStewart previously committed to BYU in 2022, but he ultimately landed at TCU following his Latter-day Saint mission to France.\n\nIn two seasons with the Horned Frogs, the 6-foot-11 Stewart appeared in six games and scored four total points.\n\nStewart, a walk-on, will not count against BYU’s 15-man roster limit. This is because his walk-on status at TCU began prior to the NCAA’s house settlement, thus grandfathering him in to keep a “bonus” roster spot.\n\nBYU will continue searching for a starting-caliber center either from the transfer portal or overseas.",
