  "textContent": "A couple relaxing at 8:30 a.m. Saturday were surprised to learn a hot-air balloon had unexpectedly landed in their backyard in Temecula, California.\n\nHunter Perrin told The Associated Press that he and his wife had no idea that a blue hot-air balloon with gold stars and a crescent moon was landing in their backyard.\n\nBut there it was.\n\nNo damage or injuries were reported in the incident. In fact, somehow, the ginormous balloon carrying 13 people landed perfectly in the Perrins’ 10-foot-wide backyard.\n\n2025 Photo gallery: Up, up and away\n\n2024 Photo gallery: Up, up and away\n\n“It was unbelievable,” said Jenna Perrin, who was doing yoga at the time of the balloon’s emergency landing.\n\nAccording to officials, the emergency landing was due to low fuel and a shift in winds.\n\nIt wasn’t until a neighbor came and knocked on the Perrins’ door that they realized what was going on.\n\n“I open the sliding glass door, and there’s a basket full of thirteen people in my backyard!” Hunter Perrin told a local news outlet.\n\nPassengers then disembarked as the operator, with the help of neighbors, guided the balloon over the house and onto the street.\n\n> A balloon landed in a Southern California backyard — a balloon with 13 people.
