Seriously, just stop and let us catch up.\n\nSo: a mix of progress and your imagination.\n\n\n\nThe Wet Wall {#the-wet-wall}\n\n<br />\nPantry doors installed\n{ .img-caption }\n\nBoth Pantry doors are in.\n\nImagine countertop and sink (and connected plumbing for the sink, dishwasher, and refrigerator), the wood panel on the dishwasher, and the sliding drawers inside the pantry.  Imagine two more shelves in front of the side windows, and the missing trim along the ceiling.\n\nThe Hot Wall {#the-hot-wall}\n\n<br />\nKitchen wall cabinets\n{ .img-caption }\n\n<br />\nKitchen wall detail\n{ .img-caption }\n\nAll the cabinets on this wall are in place.\n\nImagine countertops (ha ha, the stone that we selected from samples last December has been discontinued!). the tile backsplash that con't go in until the counters are in place, and the stove connected and working. Imagine that the shelves are present in the upper cabinets on the left. Imagine the the island in the middle of the room, without which the countertop fabricators won't start making the countertops anyway.\n\n<br />\nCookbook shelves\n{ .img-caption }\n\nI got three new cookbooks for my birthday last week, and they're the first occupants of the bookshelves we put in.\n\nImagine the rest of my cookbooks (and one programming book because it is a funny joke) living here instead of in the plastic bins where they've been living for the last 14 months.\n\nThe Dining Room {#the-dining-room}\n\n<br />\nI just noticed Scarlet peeking in here...\n{ .img-caption }\n\nThe light that we bought was installed (custom made, the shades were salvaged from a factory that was being demolished).\n\nImagine the new floor (wood to be delivered soon, installed the week of 7/18) and a dining room table (someday).\n\nThe next prime number is 29. Seriously -- we better be finished by then.
