"textContent": "So, today I was having a cup of tea at 4 pm, which is a daily ritual for me. I was using my phone as I had been using it all day, and at that particular moment, my brain became overwhelmed with too much information, it basically burned out.\n\nSo, I decided to put my phone down and drink my tea without any distractions, and I felt such a beautiful sense of peace and relaxation from my brain. It has been a long time since I felt that, it was like a dopamine hit but without the negative side of it.\n\nUsually I would feel that when I would be watching a film or a series or watching sports, I would feel exactly like I did when I put my phone down and just drank my tea, without needing to be entertained.\n\nI think that in today’s world, we are constantly being entertained and it is killing us. Like a little bit of entertainment isn’t bad, maybe a episode of a series or a film or a sports game is fine but more than that is too much (I should definitely start taking my own advice) (are you listening writer, yes I am, hopefully).\n\nLike, before I would be okay with my brain being overloaded with information but now days I just can’t cope with it. So, now as soon as I stop using my phone, I feel a sense of peace and relaxation. By that I mean when I am overloading my brain with useless information, like constantly checking sports updates is so draining. And do you know what the funny thing is? I am not even going to listen to anything that I just wrote. No, stop writer you are going to listen. Yes, you are right I am going to do this, thank you for telling me.\n\nAnyway, the point is that it was just a beautiful moment I had with myself and being able to feel that even the simplest moments can bring you dopamine too.\n\nSo, I’ll be back on Sunday afternoon at 1pm.\n\nSee you then, drafters.\n\n* * *\n\nYou can also receive drafts by email on Substack.\n\nHere’s the link: https://untitleddraftsredrafted.substack.com",
