draft 0085 – when emotions make you something you’re not.
Isn’t amazing how emotions can change somebody Into something completely different? They will not even resemble them (I being dramatic again).
Like, if you had a recording of that person and compared it to a recording of the same person without the emotion taking over, I bet you that you wouldn’t even recognise that person.
It is like something takes power over you, especially having rage and anger (which I am guilty of). It is like you become fire and the rage is like when you keep adding fuel to the fire and the fire gets more furious, and cannot be controlled.
Then, later after you have had your emotion-fit (outburst), you will be recalling the events in your head and thinking was that really me? Sometimes you will feel embarrassed at what you did and who witnessed it.
Emotions taking over you is a very real thing and shouldn’t be taken lightly. That is why we need to try and control our emotions, by being aware of the wrong we do.
I am trying to do this especially with anger, but I can say that I am getting better with it.
So, going back to my point about how amazing it is how emotions can change somebody into something completely different. Do you guys (drafters) agree? Have you also experienced this or wondered this?
So, I’ll be back on Friday evening at 10pm.
See you then, drafters.
