How is Elon Musk the Good Guy Here?! | Nebula Plus

Elon Musk is not a name which most viewers and listeners of Slow News Day will be used to considering in a positive light (for obvious reasons). This week, however, he’s been in court, facing off against his old friend Sam Altman in a trial about the past, present and future of OpenAI which has just come to a close. It’s the latest in a lengthy saga in which OpenAI has sought to shed its once proudly-held non-profit status to become effectively a for-profit company like any other, and it’s presented us with a rare story in which Elon Musk just might be the good guy.
