I made a one piece faction network and just wanted to share it. Thanks for watching on Nebula! There is an extended discussion on network analysis starting around the 13 minute mark. Affiliation Data (please let me know if link does not work): https://1drv.ms/f/c/1d023fffcc9f2d6c/IgBNJSRyEf4dTZgkKpprRxzXAYSGUPH6U4r4bLjxNvwD-Ew?e=oKZJLe Notes: 1) One of the big things that I debated a lot was whether or not to have the links be weighted. Currently, if two characters share 1 faction in common or 5 in common, the link is treated the same. I think it could be argued either way whether or not that is the correct way to do it. As-is the character-faction network just has binary links (either the link is there or is not there). The faction-faction network I talk about towards the end has weighted links; the more characters two factions share the better. I tried both approaches. The reason I decided to go with the binary links is because when I saw the betweenness ranking the number one character was ... Chopper. Which.... did not seem right. So I decided to run with the binary links because those seemed more in line with what a fan would expect (sorry Chopper fans).
