"textContent": "The mall next door had long been shuttered and recently torn down. So when the building lease was up, owners of The Old Spaghetti Factory in Fairfield decided to close the doors after 24 years. We went to grab a meal on their last day in business. It wasn’t this location, but the Spaghetti Factory downtown was reserved for special Glass family occasions1 before a football stadium took its place. In some ways today was like saying goodbye twice. I got the Manager’s Favorite as mom would’ve, with half meat sauce, half mizithra cheese and brown butter. Sad it will be gone. Happy to have gone. Maybe one day we’ll meet up at some other location and do it all again. Maybe Hawaii?",
