"textContent": "Eventually those that have lost parents will cross paths with promotions for Mother’s Day. I’ve grown to see these as reminders to take a beat and bask in a memory. This particular day holds a little extra joy as it signals a fine time to put plants out for the season. Mom had lots of favorite things in life, but gardening held a top spot right next to books and creativity. Don’t get me wrong, there are moments when I’ll come across a snapshot, see a note in the margin of a book, or hear a song and immediately well up, missing her fierce. But when it comes to this calendar day, I can catch myself, notice a daughter and mother at the grocery arm in arm and think, man — that’s awesome.",
