  "textContent": "## Introduction\n\nWe’re updating geography naming in Windows 365 Microsoft Hosted Network (MHN) Multi-Region Selection to better align with Microsoft and Azure naming conventions. Geographies represent location groupings used in multi-region provisioning to help admins select where Cloud PCs are deployed. As part of this update, Australasia is being renamed to Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), and Central America is being renamed to Mexico, making the naming more precise and consistent with how regions are represented across Microsoft services.\n\n## How this will affect your organization\n\nThe maintenance will occur in two phases:\n\n  * May 31, 2026, 2:00–4:00 PM UTC\n  * June 7, 2026, 6:00–8:00 AM UTC\n\n\n\nDuring each maintenance window:\n\n  * Maintenance windows are up to 2 hours, with impact limited to approximately 1 hour per region.\n  * During this time, admins may be unable to create new provisioning policies using the current Australasia and Central America geographies and their associated regions.\n  * Provisioning new Cloud PCs with existing provisioning policies using these geographies and their associated regions will not be affected.\n  * Existing Cloud PCs and end-user access will not be affected.\n\n\n\nFull functionality will automatically resume after the maintenance window completes.\n\nThe following geography names will be updated:\n\n  * Australasia → Australia & New Zealand (ANZ)\n  * Central America → Mexico\n\n\n\nGeography names represent location groupings used for placement and resiliency.
