  "textContent": "**Introduction**\n\nWe’re announcing the **General Availability (GA)** of **Microsoft Purview Posture Reports** , which provide out-of-the-box, executive-ready visibility into your organization’s data protection posture across **Information Protection** and **Data Loss Prevention (DLP)**. This release gives admins unified, near-real-time insights into label usage, DLP activity, posture trends, and risk areas without custom reporting or manual refreshes.\n\n**When this will happen:**\n\nWe will begin rolling out in **early February 2026** and expect to complete by**mid-February 2026**.\n\n**How this affects your organization:**\n\n**Who is affected:**\n\n  * Admins managing **Microsoft Purview Information Protection** and **Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention**.\n  * Security, compliance, and data governance teams who rely on posture insights or reporting.\n\n\n\n**What will happen:**\n\n  * New built-in posture reports will appear in the Microsoft Purview portal under **Information Protection** and **Data Loss Prevention** > **Posture reports**.\n  * Reports will refresh automatically every hour.\n  * Admins will gain insights such as:\n    * Sensitivity label adoption (labeled versus unlabeled data)\n    * Label distribution and autolabeling posture\n    * Posture drift through label transitions\n    * Most triggered DLP rules, activities, and policies\n    * Top users triggering DLP policies\n  * The feature is **on by default** for eligible tenants.\n  * No user workflow changes.\n\n\n\n**What you can do to prepare:**\n\nNo action is required.\n\n  * Review posture insights in the Microsoft Purview portal under **Information Protection** or **Data Loss Prevention** > **Posture reports**.\n  * Update internal documentation or reporting processes as needed.\n  * Inform security/compliance teams of new reporting availability.\n\n\n\nLearn more: Microsoft Purview Posture Reports Overview | Microsoft Learn\n\n**Compliance considerations:**\n\nNo compliance considerations identified, review as appropriate for your organization.",
