Scaling Guide

To calculate scale:

• 1:18 Scale: Real rim ÷ 18
• 1:25 Scale: Real rim ÷ 25
• 1:32 Scale: Real rim ÷ 32
• 1:43 Scale: Real rim ÷ 43
• 1:64 Scale: Real rim ÷ 64

Example: A real 19" rim in 1:32 scale → 19 ÷ 32 = 0.59 inches / 25.4mm (≈25.4% of file size).

If using our tyre files (sized for a 100mm rim), scale them by the same percentage. For best fit, make tyres slightly larger to allow for print, cure, and paint tolerances.

Compatibility

• Standard Hub: Perfect for 1:64–1:43 models using push axles. “Through” axels will require the rim and/or hub to be drilled post printing.
• Larger Scale Models: Use "Rim Without Hub"; compatible hubs are available separately from our store. link
• Rubber Tyres: For secure mounting, use our Tyre Retainer Ring Set available from Cults3D store link
