"textContent": "# **3D printable topographic miniature of Vila Nova de Gaia - 🇵🇹 Portugal**\n\nCapture the beauty of **Vila Nova de Gaia**'s city landscape with this topographic miniature!\nThis 3D model represents the geographic area around the geo coordinates [41.133, -8.607 (LatLng)](https://www.google.com/maps/place/41.132782376514136,-8.606941229638672).\n\nIt is scaled down from a geographic area of around **1.975 km x 2.807 km** to a 3D printable miniature in the dimensions of **119.5 mm x 170.5 mm**. The scale from the geographic area (5.543 sq km) to the miniature is approximately **~16526:1**.\n\nThe terrain is modeled from geographic data for realistic terrain representation. Ideal for educational purposes, architectural visualization, or as a decorative piece.\n\nLike what you see? Let me know - I will see what I can do!\n\n[](https://framescapr.hgross.eu/miniature_map/)\n\n\n## **Included Frames:**\n\n* 139.70 x 190.70 x 17.92 mm, text engraving \"Vila Nova de Gaia\", with hanging holes\n* 127.70 x 178.70 x 17.42 mm, no text engraving, with hanging holes (fits A1 mini bed size)\n* 139.70 x 190.70 x 17.42 mm, no text engraving, with hanging holes\n\n\n## **What's Included:**\n* **STL files** for the miniature and all frame variants\n* **Generic 3MF** containing all STLs for easy import into any slicer\n* **Bambu Studio 3MF** with optimized print profiles for A, P, X, and H-Series printers (pre-colorized)\n* **Snapmaker Orca 3MF** with optimized print profiles for the Snapmaker U1 (pre-colorized)\n\n## **Recommended Print Settings:**\n* The included 3MF files contain two highly specialized print profiles: \"miniature-classic\" and \"miniature-arachne\". For optimal results, use \"miniature-arachne\" (note: expect long slicing times).\n* Due to the nature of geographic terrain data, models may contain non-manifold geometry or areas that require support material. This cannot be avoided. Our included print profiles handle these cases well.\n* For printers from other manufacturers or other slicers, check our [Miniature Printing Guide](https://framescapr.hgross.eu/miniature-printing-guide/) for recommended settings (especially support settings).\n\n\n## **Assembly:**\n* Gently put the miniature into the frame. Depending on your printer's calibration, that should be enough to hold the miniature.\n* If in doubt, use some super glue. For PLA, I use thick cyanoacrylate glue. I experienced best results with glue that contains Ethyl-2-cyanacrylat.\n* Hanging Holes: My frames always have a hole pattern divisible by 10 mm - for this miniature's size the \"Hanging Hole Distance\" results in **60 mm** between holes.\n\n\n\n---\n\n*Contains information from OpenStreetMap, which is made available here under the [Open Database License (ODbL)](https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright).*",
