  "textContent": "Designed to be an close approximation of the now nearly impossible to find PTS AKM Lower Receiver for the Magpul/PTS Masada AEG.\n\n This lower will allow you to take your current Masada that uses M4 pattern magazines and swap it over to AK-47/74 magazines by transferring the gearbox and safety selectors.\n\nHardware needed for assembly includes:\n\nThe two original M3mm countersunk screws that fasten the gearbox to the Lower Receiver -or- 2x M3 buttonhead screws 3-4mm in thread length.\n\n1x M3mm buttonhead screw with a thread length of 25mm for the Magazine Release.\n\n1x 6mm OD spring for the Magazine Release cut to around 8-10mms in length.\n\n2-4x M3 buttonhead screws with a thread length of 8mm and accompanying M3 nuts for the Feed Nozzle. I designed to it take 4 screws but you can get away with 2 set diagonal from one another.\n\n1x M4mm screw with a thread length of 20mm to fasten the Grip Floorplate to the motor housing.\n\n3x 2mm OD metal pins (I use wire coat hangers cut to size)\nThe two body pins should be approximately 33mm in length.\nThe grip floorplate pin should be 25mm in length.\n\nThe front body pin adds some reinforcement where the magazine hooks into the magwell. The middle body pin holds the Bolt Catch in place and restricts its range of motion. The Grip Floorplate pin is not required but adds more points of contact to hold the Grip Floorplate in place.\n\nAnd 1x 5mm OD spring for the Bolt Catch cut to 8-10mm in length.\n\nAssembly instructions:\n\n*This receiver will likely require sanding and finishing for a perfect fit and smooth function.*\n\nAfter removing your gearbox from the original lower receiver, carefully remove the safety selectors making sure not to lose the springs or detents that go with them. \n\nBefore you slide the gearbox into the AKM lower you must install the safety selectors on both sides, install the bolt catch, and install the feed nozzle. \n\nTo install the bolt catch, put the spring in its place in the lower receiver, press the bolt catch down onto the spring, then push the middle body pin through and it will be captured in its place. \n\nTo install the feed nozzle, press the M3 nuts into their places inside the magwell (glue optional), press the nozzle into the nozzle hole from above and screw it into place.\n\nTo install the magazine release I recommend gluing the spring into the magazine release lever to keep the spring from moving during installation. Once it dries, push the magazine release lever into its place inside the magwell and carefully run the M3 screw through making sure that the magazine release lever is lined up properly. \n\nSliding in the gearbox should be done carefully and will be a tight fit. Some tips to help out installation are:\n-Set the safety selectors to semi.\n-Make sure your motor wires are neat and in their place.\n-Make sure your front wires are not getting pinched as the gearbox slides into place.\n-Part of the way down you will need to push the trigger in as it will get caught on the receiver, use a thin tool for this.\n-Before sliding the gearbox all the way down into its place, set the safety selectors to full auto and make sure the selector plate on the gearbox is in the rearward most position. \n-Once the gearbox is seated, test the trigger pull in each safety position to make sure it is functioning as it should. \n-After the gearbox is set and you are sure everything is working correctly, screw the Grip Floorplate to the motor housing.\n\nFor the added Upgraded Magazine Release Lever, I designed it to be printed in halves with a connector piece so it will need to be glued together after printing the 3 parts that make it up.",
