I am thrilled to share my latest design with the community! This is a high-performance, portable desk stand specifically engineered for HP Victus laptops. After the success of my Victus wall mount, I wanted to create a desk solution that prioritizes both cooling and portability. 💡 A Personal Milestone: My First Print-in-Place! I am incredibly excited to share that this is my very first "Print-in-Place" design! After countless hours of engineering and refining the tolerances, seeing a complex mechanical structure come off the bed fully functional without any assembly was a "eureka" moment for me. I am so proud of the result and couldn't wait another minute to share this excitement with my fellow makers! ⚙️ Engineering Highlights: Custom-Fit for HP Victus: Designed specifically to match the Victus 16 series' chassis, ensuring perfect stability and zero wobbling. Print-in-Place Technology: The main structural bodies feature integrated hinges. No assembly, no screws, and no glue required. Just print it, and it's ready to fold! Thermal Solution: The "truss-style" tooth design elevates the laptop at multiple adjustable angles, creating a massive airflow tunnel to solve thermal throttling issues. Ultra-Portable: It folds down completely flat, making it the perfect companion to slide into your laptop bag. 🛠 Print Settings & Recommendations: Layer Height: 0.2 mm is recommended for the best balance between speed and hinge tolerance. Recommended Materials: I highly recommend ASA for its superior heat resistance. ABS or PETG are also excellent choices. Infill: 25-30% for structural integrity. ⚠️ The "Engineered Designs" Promise: I was so excited about the results that I am publishing the main bodies today! Note: The middle connecting support piece will be designed and uploaded tomorrow evening . I give you the "Engineered Designs" word: The current files are final and will not be revised. The upcoming support piece will be 100% compatible with the files you print today. 📺 Stay Tuned! The full design process video (including OBS screen captures of the CAD workflow) will be live on my YouTube channel very soon. https://www.youtube.com/@EngineeredDesigns If you like my work, please consider following for more "Engineered" solutions!
